Im Not Sure What is Wrong With my Xbox

The other me and my cousin were playing madden 15, then the game just froze. So we went to the dashboard and it froze on the dashboard as well so we turned it off, and tried to turn it back on, nothing. Since then, it has not worked. But as I've look at
it i have found some things out:

• It sits on a black screen for at least 5 minutes (the controller can connect, but its basically as it is off)
  
• After a long period of time, usually at least 5 minutes as I previously stated, the xbox actually sounds like it's turning on, what i mean is the console actually sounds like its working
  
• After that it goes to the start up green screen, and it just stays there, and i know its not updating or anything because I've left it on for hours on end and it just stays there, and the same thing happens if I restart it.
  

Can I fix my xbox or is it worthless now, which is a shame because I had the console for less than a moth before it just decided to call it quits

Not entirely sure what is up with my Xbox.

Yetserday i was playing Fallout 4 when the game started kicking me out repeatedly to the Xbox home, i hard reset my xbox to try to fix it and it won't let me connect to the internet now, i got to play last night for around 2 hours after the first occurrence
before it did the exact same thing again. My friend pointed out it may be a glitch with updates and all that, because i'm on the preview program and it says "Update pending" when i check but i cant connect to dowload the update. I've been resetting my Xbox/
Router all day and still no success, i've tried every single troubleshooting method imaginable and i'm wondering if anyone has/ had this problem and has a solution? Any help would be grealy appreciated, thanks.

Hi. If you have only had your console for a month then the best thing is to contact ms support or to try the diagnostics tool which you can download from this site from the support page for xbox one. You will need an external storage device with at least
2 GB and a your computer to download the files. I used the offline diagnostics tool last night and ended up doing the factory reset. I think most of these problems are to do with the console update. If you need any help give me a msg and I will help as much
