i’m not receiving invites on my xbox but i’m getting them on the xbox app

We may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

" 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

I’m receiving everything but friends getting on and sometimes I don’t get party invites and game invites. I’m playing on a Xbox console, but my Xbox app isn’t working either

Do you mean Power & Startup? In System, I see an option for “reset console” but I’m not sure that’s what you’re saying.

As for other platforms, I’m still able to see my friends list with the Xbox App, and I’m able to receive party and game invites from my current friends. When I select their profile, it shows that I’m currently friends with them. The friends list exists,
it just doesn’t show on my console.

In order to allow cross-play via PC to PS4, your friend will need to have linked a Microsoft account to Minecraft, this can be done in the main menu, Upon doing so he will need to restart the game to refresh the menus, Once that is all done he should find your
game in the friends playing minecraft in the world menu, also works the same way for PS4 to PC, and Xbox.

I’m having the same problem. I’m tired of my friends sending me invites while I’m in the middle of watching a movie
