I'm not receiving a new msg on Xbox console or Smartglass app anymore..

Whenever a friend sends me a message, I don't receive a notification anymore. It started last night at the same time for both app and system. I didn't screw around with any settings. Anyone else experiencing this and know how to fix it??

Notifications not working.

I'm going to keep it quick and simple - my xbox one literally gives no notifications for like new messages, game/party invoices or friends online. However I am getting notifications for clip recorded, joining a party (actually joining it or friends joining
my party).

Side note, my smartglass app on my iPhone is receiving notifications for new messages.

 

Msgs no longer working

I use Xbox one SmartGlass app. About a week ago, the "Msgs" portion stopped working and started locking up the iPhones ne and iPad if I tried to get msgs or create msgs. Works on computer and console just fine. Yes, I uninstalled reinstalled, etc. yes,
I have the latest updates. Any ideas?

 

There are some issues and limitations with the live network at the moment, so maybe you are affected in that way.

So I'd suggest to check if this problem persists.

If you still experience this problem when all services are restored come back für further assistance.

 

Thanks for the reply Bob but it's still doing it. I checked in preferences and all notifications are turned on for both Xbox and for the Smartglass app.

 

I'm having this same issue as well and it didn't do this till after the September update for me. Had talked with Microsoft twice and did all of the troubleshooting and its still not notifying me at all.
