    Im not able to link my xbox account to my epic games account


    When im trying to link my xbox to epic games account (for rocket league) it says "there was an error processing the credentials from the external login system xbox linking" and when i contacted epic games support they told me its because my xbox account
    is a child account even tho both of my accounts are not and they told me to contact xbox account so they can fix it in the xbox support they told me to reach out to the forums so thats what i did anyone knows how to solve it?

    Hello Brandon, I don't know if you already played Fortnite or another Epic game with your Xbox account.

    However, you don't need to delete your Epic account to do this, if you want to link your Playstation account to your Epic account, you can do it directly on the Epic website, this will keep your progress with Epic.

    And log in with your Epic account on PC, you will see you can link Xbox, PS, Nintendo, Steam accounts etc

    Sure TylerNunn, the big question of account links with Épic Games is that they changed the policy a couple of years here, so for example if you have a Microsoft (Xbox) account linked to your Epic account, even if you disconnect your Xbox account, you won't be able to add another Xbox account to the same Epic Games account.

    When he has created his Xbox account, he can then link his Epic account (the makers of Fortnite) to his Xbox account.
