I'm not able to change my privacy settings.

I'm pretty sure I'm the parent account on this xbox but I have no way of finding out. When I go to privacy & online safety it says "your privacy settings are in effected, but cannot be changed until we connect to the service. I am connected to xbox live
this is on xbox one and also I was trying to buy trials fusion, but it told me that I need to change my settings and it has to be a parent account but I have no other accounts on my xbox one, plzz help it would be much appreciated Thanks

Hi, I recently got gifted Forza horizon 4 on pc from my friend and it was going well until I somehow figured out that I cant play online till I change my privacy settings from xbox.com but when I go to the website I cant change the privacy settings and

Sorry to hear for the issue with privacy settings. A quick question, are you not able to play at all? So what is happening is the system is picking up you have a child account, in these situations you need to

Set up a family. When you add your account to a family with a parent account, the parent can then go in and

change settings on the child account. There are bugs as I have an adult account with settings all set right and I still get errors within the game.

Forza forums have known issues posted and others with similar issues.

Hi,

If you contact support then they can tell you if your account is a child or not but as a sounds of it it's a child without parent account. Please keep in mind that support will be able to tell you the state as 'child' or 'adult' but nothing else like the
DoB and this will be available for them after you passed security with them on their system.

mine is diffrent i cant go in to it it says it not avalibe and i have been trying every thng still nothing it has no restrictions on it

Yep, getting the same problem here. I spent a few minutes setting up my twitch account so I could stream me playing Dark Souls for the first time, however twitch is requiring me to change some Account details so that my streams are "set to: visible to everyone".
Makes sense to me but my problem is, whenever I go to my account settings and and select my Online and Safety services I get an error saying it's currently unavailable... What gives?

 

I have a problem were it will not let me change my 'You can buy and download" from only free items to able to perches anything why will this not work. Plus my mom says she did not block me from changing my settings. Will a employee help me please.
