    Console problem

    I’m not in the xbox insiders as far as i know. I just get a black screen when i try to access the home screen games and apps or microsoft store

    Hello!! I’m just have some question on getting back into the ambassador program!

    Currently if you are removed from the program for an enforcement action, you cannot rejoin. Unfortunately since support does not handle the program directly they do not have correct information. You can join for the first time if you have not had an enforcement
    action in 1 year, but that only applies to joining for the first time.

    I’ve posted similar issues there before, even recently, and had the threads quickly closed because they weren’t “relevant” to the insider program itself.

    I’m aware that issues can be directly reported through the “report a problem” app on Xbox consoles that are enrolled into the insider program but I’m not enrolling mine into the insider program with its potentially buggy builds just so I can report a problem, so I was directed to ask here instead. Would be nice if it was easier (and less risky) to report issues, instead of going through all of these support loops.

    Maybe that “report a problem” app should be on every console regardless of insider program enrollment, or the online support have clearer paths to report app issues.

    Hi Scratch,

    Just to see if it is an issue because of the Insider / beta program link.... have you tried signing out of being an Insider / unlinking from the program?

    Perhaps remove the Insider app? Sign out of your account and sign in with a new account that does not have Insider/etc? Remove your account and try with a new account?

    Worst case, have you tried factory image reset of your xbox and not download the Insider app? Initially with 'Keep your data', but then if that still does not work then 'Remove all data' (and of course you'll have to re-download everything again).
