Yes, as long as you sign in on the same account you can just redownload everything. Your game saves are stored on the cloud and will sync up when you start the game.

It sounds like the game may not have been saved to the cloud on your original Xbox. Then when you played on the One X it created a cloud save file of the new game.

Then when you signed back into your One and said you played on another Xbox it may have synced that cloud save from the One X and overwritten what you had saved to the original One.

Were you signed in and connected to the internet at all times on the original Xbox One?

I am considering purchasing the new Series X. Before I do I want to know if it is compatible with other Xbox’s when playing Gta 5 Online.

For example, my cousin plays on the Xbox one s and my brother plays on the original Xbox one. Will I be able to play online with them?

Short answer, Yes.

Xbox One,

Xbox One X,

Xbox Series S,

Xbox Series X,

They will all be able to play the same games online together, no matter who's on which of these consoles.

As an original Xbox One owner, I'm waiting at least for the Scarlett. In my opinion, the X seems great; however, I held off on getting it because both systems play the same games.

I realize that Scarlett games will be playable on the X (and original Xbox One) for awhile. I'm just curious if eventually there will be games that will only run on the Scarlett (and PC), or how bad newer releases will run on the original Xbox One.

I'm the OP from the original post where this one was split from.

In the end, tired of disconnections, resets, reconfigurations and problems I sold my Xbox One X and I'm very confident this is a hardware/firmware issue and I'm extremely surprised this is not being addressed as the highest priority. There's plenty of people
with this problem as you can see, and still no solution as I'm afraid it is a design/hardware problem which has no easy fix.

I invested in a gaming PC and it's the best decision I've taken.

Good luck with the Xbox One X and the WiFi, I decided to move on and enjoy my PC.
