    Long story short, lost my job last year, gave up my mobile contract etc and gave me xb acc to my daughter to play minecraft. Been topping up her xbl via codes from ebay as I can buy via paypal thru my bank account, its a basic bank acc and I have no credit/debit
    cards.

    A full month ago, she asked for Minecraft story mode, and after 30mins of trying to buy it I ended up having to change my contact info as I no longer had my mobile that id registered on xbl with about 5 years ago. Told me I had to wait a month before I could
    be sent a code to verify who I was and to change my details, so we waited a month, that was yesterday.

    Logged on yesterday, got my code sent, entered it fine, tried to purchase, says I need to add payment details, despite me having more than enough balance on my xbl acc to cover the cost. I cant add payment details as I dont have a debit/credit card.

    Try to contact live chat, and I get a box to enter query, and name. Name box is greyed out, so that it doesnt let you enter a name, and wont let you proceed without entering a name.

    This is the single most infuriating frustrating company ive ever had the trouble of dealing with in my 40 years on this planet.

    All to buy a £5 game

    Any advice?

    Can you try adding your PayPal as a Payment option to your account? You can do it at Commerce.microsoft.com and select payment and add it there.

    This is honestly the most ridiculous thing i have dealt with while using an Xbox.

    Okay, answer me this... How am i going to get out of red rep if im still being reported for absolutely nothing?

    I am livid right now. I found a way to play with friends yet im still being reported when im just playing the game. I know 100% that they do not investigate these reports because im being reported for doing nothing at all.

    Absolutely ridiculous. If my rep is still red in a week im selling this xbox.

    Im livid. Thanks microsoft... Thanks xbox support.
