I'm having trouble with installing Minecraft for Windows 10 version

Hi, I've just owned Minecraft for windows 10. Then, I installed it in my laptop, and my desktop, too. But my laptop's minecraft version is 1.7.1, and the desktop's minecraft version is 1.6.1. I've tried to reinstall it, but it can't fix. I remember that
I've installed 1.7.1 version last month, but I had to reinstall windows. Thank you, please help me fix it.

Trouble downloading Minecraft Windows 10 version.

I have trouble with getting the Minecraft windows 10 version. I already have miecraft, and recieved a gift code from mojang, but it says that I already used the code last year. The problem is that I dont have the windows 10 version on my computer, so I am
wondering what happened, and how to get the windows 10 version of minecraft without paying for minecraft again?

I bought Minecraft Windows 10 version, but It was a mistake.

I have also one computer with Windows 7 and I can't use Minecraft Windows 10 version on this environnement version.

Is that possible for you to cancel my order L: 4497045594?

After speaking with Xbox support on Twitter it seems it's possible.

With Minecraft Java version, I can have Minecraft Windows 10 version for free.

Apologies for this confusion because Minecraft via Mojang's site, we can have also Windows 10 version for free (after buying Java version) but not vice versa.

Could you double check the version on your laptop? The latest official release for Windows 10 is version 1.6.1

There may be beta versions of the game in the 1.7.1 range, but you would have to have signed up for the beta program.

 

How to sign up for the beta program? Can you teach me? Thank you.

 

Get the Xbox Insider Hub app for Windows 10, and then under Insider Content there should be a Minecraft option.
