    I’m having Strict NAT type issues.


    I’ve contacted my ISP and my Modems service line but they say to troubleshoot my Xbox one i need certain Port numbers. I just want to play online. I’m a first time buyer of wifi and i can’t even use it, it is very frustrating. Any help is widely appreciated. I’m not sure what to do anymore this is the only way i connect with friends back home

    Hi Shindarie,

    The issue you may be having is that your NAT may be set to strict, or your party member's NAT may be.

    Take a look at the following guide and follow the steps in it. This should correct your issue:

    Hi,

    This seems to be related to a NAT issue. Have you checked to see if your NAT type is set to Open instead of Moderate/Strict, same with your friend?

    Sometimes, parties have technical issues due to a strict NAT type.
