    I'm having problems with my ear force recon 200


    Good afternoon. I'm writing this in regards to my headset not working while I'm playing. I cant hear anyone in game chat, in party chat, or om discord. Also sometimes they can't hear me. Can you help me troubleshoot this? I've updated my controller, turned on all the privacy settings to enabled and everyone.

    To isolate the issue, please provide us details about your concern:

    1. May we confirm if you can use this headset in listening to music and streaming videos?
    2. Is the issue happening when you try to play a game?
    3. Can your headset work on other devices? We notice you have added this concern to Xbox console category, please connect the headset on PC or mobile to see if issue persist.
    4. Have you updated your headset?

    Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get it working properly.



    First, let's make sure that the headset is properly connected to your Xbox controller. Check that the 3.5mm jack is securely plugged into the controller's audio port. If it is, try unplugging it and plugging it back in to ensure a good connection.



    Next, let's check the volume settings on your Xbox. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then navigate to System > Settings > Display & sound > Volume. Make sure that the Headset volume is turned up and that the Headset mic is set to On.



    If that doesn't work, try resetting your Xbox controller. To do this, hold down the Xbox button on the controller for about 10 seconds until the controller turns off. Then, turn it back on and try using the headset again.



    If none of these steps work, it's possible that there may be an issue with the headset itself. In that case, I would recommend contacting the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.
