I'm having problems downloading the new XB1 update!

Discus and support I'm having problems downloading the new XB1 update! in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm stuck on the "There was a problem with the update" screen.     I'm having problems downloading the new XB1 update!


    I'm stuck on the "There was a problem with the update" screen. My internet is connected and I even went on XB1 and 360 with absolutely no problems earlier.

    I've followed all the steps (as it takes me to xbox.com/xboxone/update/help) but I'm still stuck on the same repeating message.

    I've even tried to "test connection" but the moment I connect, it leads me to the update screen so I can't complete the troubleshooting steps as it takes me back to square one without signing out of my connection.

    I've had 0 problems in the past with the update but this as well as not being able to download the Xbox Preview Dashboard (it makes my Xbox go slow... still no response to that post: http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_early_a...view_forums/wave_7_1409/f/5051/t/1817491.aspx)

    ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.

    May Update Problem; Can't Play Online

    I was having problems with signing into Live due to the May Update not downloading. I solved this by downloading the update onto a USB drive, and then into my xbox. I'm able to get online, but not access my friends list or play online. Any solutions?

    As this is specifically a beta issue it must remain in the beta forums. Please wait for a response to your post.

    In the meantime, try holding your power button for 10 seconds until the console shuts down then unplug everything and let it sit for 5 minutes.

    Exactly the same here. I talked to a volunteer from the contact page and he said that this was an Xbox Live server problem. I don't know when this could get fixed but it's really annoying. I've been trying for 2 days.

    I tried everything.

    Right now I'm trying my last hope which is the offline system diagnostic tool. You should try it too.

    As I mentioned. If you are in the preview program all concerns must remain in the preview forums regardless of what someone from phone support told you.

    As this is specifically a beta issue it must remain in the beta forums. Please wait for a response to your post.

    Horrendous frame rate across several backwards compatible titles

    I'm having a terrible frame rate problem with Left 4 Dead 2 on the new XB1"S" system! Worked fine on my old system and maybe it's the new system update but 90% of the time the frame rate drops to unplayable levels during gameplay. I'm using the digital
    version of the game.

    How many hours will it take to update on the first day?

    With the new tech and updated hardware compared to the 360.. downloads should be MUCH faster with the XB1 correct?
