Im having issues with my system powering up

Hello. A friend of mine gave me an xbox one console and im kinda stumped. It was working fine thwn one day his power supply burnt out. We got him a new one and it still didn't work. I dont smell any burnt smell coming from the system area. No beeps or anything.....
power supply is yellow. No response when plugging a controller into it ether. so like i said. "Stumped" any help is greatly appreciated! THX

Xbox One not performing correctly

I seem to be having several issues with powering up, powering down, and slow performance. It takes my Xbox forever to power up and power down. When powering up it seems to be very slow loading up. Upon powering off, the light on the console itself will
blink for maybe a minute or two before completely shutting off. Also, when I am trying to load friends, I get an error saying that it couldn't load friends. It will also not load the activity feed on the friends app I hope someone can help! I have power
cycled and hard reset the system as well.

Xbox One Console - Power Up Issues

My Xbox One is having issues powering up.

Console and power box are acknowledging that I'm powering up the console (from console, not controller) with noise and change of light from orange to white, but only occurs for a brief moment before it stops power up.

Called support and walked through the troubleshooting recommended but was unable to resolve the issue. Has anyone else had this problem/any thoughts on what I should do?

Hey zax -

Does your friend have an Xbox One console still? If so, can you try using his power supply to see what happens? There is also a >>troubleshooting guide<<
that you can take a look at regarding the console not turning on. Take a look at that and try all the steps provided.

Im having the same issue. Im connected via hdmi. System recognizes my avr is capable of 7.1 and auto switches on power up. I only have 5.1 and have switched off 7.1 on my denon. With the xbox switching im getting muti in where I want to keep dts... 18004myxbox
suggested cutting off hdmi auto detect, and keeping hdmi constant. That fix didnt work. Software needs update to retain sound settings.

Im having the same issue with my brother's 360s. Tried holding the sync button and powering off. Also running off of av cables and no issue with power supply. Used other 360 hook ups to verify.

Id do a full reboot hold power button for 10 secs then disconect the power supply cables etc,conect it back up then boot it up see if that helps if not id factory reset it and start over a pain but might iron bugs out a clean system,failing that send it
back if troubles persist,im on my 2nd xb1 now 1st had power issues but in all its a amazeing machine when it works propually...lol
