I'm having an issue with my elite controller and my Xbox charge and play kit.

After speaking to Xbox Support for a couple of hours, they have advised me to wait for the next system update as they are hoping this will fix my controller charge issue.

I have already had my controller replaced from the reseller and still had the same issue with the elite controller not charging at all with the official plug and play kit.

Can you try the battery pack in a different controller to check if it's a controller or battery issue?

If it's a battery issue, you might want to contact the support for a replacement.

Check if you are able to create a repair pickup yourself at
https://devicesupport.microsoft.com/ by choosing your Xbox console (register it first if not already done so), and then choosing that you have issues with an accessory.

If it's available in the selection, choose the Play&Charge kit.

Thanks for the reply. I understand there is an issue with the play and charge kit. As per the Xbox Warranty the duration is 90 Days for all Xbox Accessories.
I recommend to contact Customer Support for further assistance with the accessory.

Is this an official xbox plug and charge kit . As that is what I have and no problems. £19.99 here in scotland . But works a treat .

I would say it's the battery pack it's not holding a charge. Try normal good double a battery in it see how long you get from that ?

Yeah its an offical charge and play kit. I have a few off brand ones that work fantastically and rhe box for the charge and play kit said up to 20 hours.
