Restarting Your Xbox 360

Delete any GTA V install data that is on the Xbox 360 storage device

Clear the Xbox 360 Cache: System Settings->Storage->Highlight Storage Device and Press Y->Choose Clear Cache->Confirm

Re-attempt the installation

Hi try deleting the game from your hard drive and any non essential saves (if any) and download/install the game again

You could also try deleting any dlc as this has caused a couple of issues in the past, the content can be reinstalled when your game is up and running by viewing your purchase history.

Finally try the old favourite of clearing you cache as below:

support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

The funny thing is when I posted this on RockStar support they said I was making it up until I sent them a video of it happening then they decided to believe me and refused any responsibility. Even thought its clearly something to do with the game on specific
console's. as many people have been having trouble with the install not exactly the same problems but loads of people are having problems on different consoles so it's kind of a *** take really they postpone the games release to "smooth out the bugs" (their
words not mine), and yet when they release it. its still dodgy as ***. To be honest its just a waste of money I basically paid £50 for a few pieces of plastic. (I'm not the only ones who's having problems with the install 1000's of people are) - I just hope
they release a patch and apologise for this ***.
