Im having a issue with "Bad Request"

Please try the following:

• Sign into Xbox Live. You must be online and signed in to make changes.
  
• You’re signed in to the console using an adult account. Children and teens are restricted from
  making changes to their
  own privacy and online safety settings.
  
• If you receive an error message when you try to change your privacy settings, search for the error using the
  Error Code Lookup Tool.

Why you're being asked for parental consent

If the date of birth on your Microsoft account shows that you're under 18 years old, Xbox is required to request parental consent for you to use Xbox Live.

If you're an adult, but you got a message asking for parental consent, it's because you're a child in your Microsoft family. Even if you're over the age of 18, you can still be a child in Microsoft family.

Solution

If you're under the age of 18, follow the steps on your console to have your parent sign in and add you to a Microsoft family.

If you're over the age of 18, have your parent remove you from the family. They'll have to sign in to
account.microsoft.com/family, select your profile, and select remove.

If you're unable to clear the message, contact Xbox Support.

the account age settings are normally set by Date of birth to stop this kind of thing. So it is extremely odd for that to happen, I would have ask what is happening when you get the error saying bad request?

Another strange thing with my Xbox account, is that this is an "Adult" mode but on the xbox.com website it says that is in "Child" mode.

It's working now. It wasn't working AT ALL yesterday. I think it started to mess up around 11PM on Thursday.
