I’m getting this error code when trying to update my XBox1

Hi..

So I’m trying to buy a 17+ game but it says I’m not old enough and to “give this code to an adult”. I dont have any family settings connected to my Xbox1, and I dont know how to “give the code to an adult” so i can play the game. Please help? (I am under
18 i just dont know who to give the “code” to or where the code even is.)

When trying to play destiny 2 I get error code “0x800704490” and a message saying “something went wrong.” With apex I get the “getting your game ready” for about 2 minutes followed by a “Please try again” message with the error code “0x80070057”

At this point I’m almost considering trying to refund what I’ve bought on this Xbox cause I’m literally locked out of content I paid for and it’s beyond frustrating.

So i was making my son his own account and ran into this proble/code. New user name new email the whole kitten kabootle! On the 360 it went straight to error code. Went to the xbox1 and tried it. At the point on the 360 where you get the code, on the xbox1
will ask for a 4 digit code that was sent to the new email account. Checked the new email and there was the 4 digit code. Entered the code in the xbox1 and finished his profile. I then went back to the xbox 360 and was able to sign him in and get xbox live.

Hope this helps all yall and *** you Microsoft for forcing ppl to go to xbox1 not everyone can afford it!

Can you tell us what error code you are seeing when you try to update normally. Also, are you getting errors simply from unzipping the update file, or are you getting errors when you try to update this way?
