    i'm getting notifications on my PC when my friend earns an achievement on his xbox despite...


    a few weeks ago, my friend signed in to his xbox account on my computer, to buy something from the store since he wasn't at home to do it. i made sure he signed out, and then i signed myself back into the app.

    the past few days, however, when he gets an achievement in a game, i get the notification on my computer. he is definitely not signed in anywhere on my computer, at all. it's only my account, and i have verified it is him earning the achievement on his account,
    being that it shows up in the xbox apps activity feed. except when i earn an achievement myself, i get no notification when previously, i did.

    to try and suss the issue out, i signed out of the xbox app, the microsoft store app, and i signed myself out of my actual computer account entirely, switching to just a local account.

    then signed myself back in on all of them, and yet the issue persists. how can i just flush all account information from my computer to eradicate this issue entirely?

    Not earning achievements on my PC.

    When you log onto your Xbox Console, look at your profile, they may have registered and you just aren't getting notification on the PC. Happened to me with Minecraft.
    Nope. I'm not getting them at all when I play on PC. Only Xbox play gets counted toward my achievements. Achievements do not progress or get earned when I play on PC.

    same for me.

    just got an achievement and reward notification while playing unpacking via gamepass ultimate on my pc

    never received any notifications for that game before today despite earning achievements.

    havent changed a single thing on my pc.

    did notice that gamebar updated overnight.

    seems its a very buggy piece of software. definitely needs some work

    My achievements won't unlock all of a sudden.

    I'm getting achievements but no notifications of any sort, it doesn't notify me when I get an achievement or when friends come on or even when I get messages or invites all of a sudden I just have messages show up with no notification
