I'm trying to copy a folder to the Packages/Community folder but I keep getting this error message - Your organization does not allow you to place this file here. This has been happening for a few days. I purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 a couple of weeks ago and I'm trying to add an aircraft to this folder.

Updating the folder is not necessary as the content is automatically installed in your game after purchasing the game from Microsoft.

That's why microsoft doesn't allow editing in their game folders.

Just a question, do you happen to have some sort of Third Party group with your computer? If you do they might not allow your device to change that feature anymore. Is this flight simulator used for commercial purposes for you (i.e. training pilots)?

This aircraft is not from Microsoft. It has its own installation setup into MSFS2020. This program is for cockpit builders and controls hardware and instruments that interface with MSFS2020. The setup worked the first time I installed it but when I tried to install the latest update Windows 10 prevented it. This should not be happening.

I had a problem and I wanted to save my "Community " folder before reinstalling msfs. When I tried to copy and save the folder, I got the above error. And Yes I need the community folder as it contains all my add on not purchased from msfs store. Surely you are not suggesting the community folder is proprietary when most of the contents there are mines.

No, this computer is on my home network. This is not commercial software but strictly for my use.
