I'm filing a complaint about a player who made me wait 2 hrs to play a game read below

this person I was playing against was pauses the game every 5 or so minutes and wouldn't come back until at least 25 minutes or longer. I didn't want to quit cause I didn't want to have a lost in my record which isn't my fault. he kept pause it up to 5
times. then he had 0. when we finally went to halftime well he comes back on at halftime finally after another 30 minutes or so and has 5 more pauses how is that so. isn't that cheating or something. I had to wait almost 2 hrs to finally finish a game
that's just not right for someone to do that to other people who likes to have fun playing madden. if someone can please help me out I would realy like that. his gamer tag name is

Filing complaint about a player

I'm trying to get something done about a player who team kills, team flashes, and only uses mic to play music? I've already avoided him and filed a complaint on my Xbox but it keeps allowing him to follow me. any help would be appreciated. His name is "DiamondLife54"

File a complaint against another player

If you feel that an Xbox LIVE player has violated the Xbox LIVE Code of Conduct, you can file a complaint against that player. If a game has a complaint option, you can file a complaint from within the game. Refer to the documentation that came with the
game for instructions. You can also follow the steps below.

Note If the player hasn’t violated the code of conduct but you want to avoid them, consider filing a player review.

To file a complaint 1.Press the Guide button on your controller.

2.Select Friends, then go to the Players tab.

3.Select File Complaint. Then select File Complaint again on the next screen.

4.Select one of the following general reasons for filing the complaint:

◦Profile: The player’s gamertag, personal picture, or personal information contains inappropriate material.

◦Text and Voice Communications: The player used vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening language in voice or text communications.

◦Video Communications: The player was vulgar, hateful, harassing, or threatening in video communications.

◦Tampering: The player tampered with a game, an Xbox 360 console, Xbox LIVE, or the feedback system.

5.Select one of the following specific reasons for filing the complaint:

◦Profile: Gamertag, Personal Picture, Personal Info, Player Content

◦Text and Voice Communications: Text Message, Voice Message, Voice Chat, In-Game Voice

◦Video Communications: Picture Message, Video Chat

◦Tampering: Feedback Tampering, System Tampering, Cheating

6.Select File Complaint. Select Don’t File if you decide not to file a complaint.

Note Filing a complaint won't mute, block, or help you to avoid a player.

Sadly there is nowhere on the forum you are allowed to 'report' people and naming and shaming is in fact against the rules. You can check them out here

Why did you wait 2 Hours????

You could have gotten a lot more done in game duiring that time is you had left........

Avoid the player and move on.... Or, file a report as suggested above. It may help to head on over to the game developers web site and report abuse there aswell.

[/quote] When playing Modern warfare 3 in the game lobby I notice if you hover over someone's name and press the A button you can report them in game which is the best option because the company who made the game can give out suitable punishments and deal
with the problem

I haven't played halo 3 but if you can hover over someone's name and report them in-game do it and if not file complaint them to the nearest option then an xbox live enforcement will investigate within 24 hours. If you would like any other information regarding

Hello,

If something like this happens to you and you know who the user was that did this to you, please file a complaint, avoid the player, and read the DDOS FAQ written by Microsoft Support Staff.

No one on these support forums can "ban" or "suspend" anyone else on Xbox LIVE. The only folks who have the power to do that are the Xbox LIVE Enforcement Team, they do not read nor do they respond to this section of the forums. They only take their information
from complaints filed via the Xbox LIVE Dashboard.

How to file a complaint:

1.Press the Guide button on your controller.

2.Select Friends, then go to the Players tab.

3.Select File Complaint. Then select File Complaint again on the next screen.

Select Tampering.

Select System Tampering.

Select File Complaint.

You can also file a complaint under Text and Voice Communications and Text Message/Voice Message/In-Game Voice (depending on how he's threatened you).

How to avoid a player:

1.Press the Guide button.

2.Select Friends, then go to the Players tab. Select the player’s gamertag.

3.Select Submit Player Review.

4.Select Avoid This Player

5.Select why you want to avoid the player: Communication, Game Behavior, or Player Skill.

6.Select the specific reason why you want to avoid the player.

How to block communications (only works if messages were received from other players):

From the Xbox Dashboard, open a message from the player, and then select Block Communications. The player will not be able to send you any messages unless you send them one first.
