Hello, I'm considering buying an Xbox One and I have some questions about it.

1.Does the installation get in the way of actually playing the game?

2.How long does the installation usually take?

3,Is the download speed any faster than the Xbox 360? Because the Halo Master Chief collection has a 20GB download.

Thanks for any help in advance, and how's your XB1 been since you bought it?

    :)

  2. Account

Hello. I was wondering, if I download some games by digital code and I delete everything on my xbox one, would those game still be on my account or I have to purchase the digital code again? FYI I'm considering buying Project Scorpio

Will people stick with xbox 360?

I'm buying the new Xbox day one.

I probably won't buy a new 360 when my current one breaks, as long as it doesn't break long before the release of the new Xbox, that is.

And I'm also considering getting the PS4 as well at some point.

I'm considering buying an Xbox One and I have some questions.

    1. You have to download a percentage of the game before you can play it but you don't need to wait until it's 100% it will tell you when the game is ready to start.

    2. Depends on your internet connection so speeds can vary and I think if you download it if your offline it will download quicker.

    3. I would guess so.

Really enjoy the xbox only thing I don't like is the games take up quite a bit of storage space and your hard drive can be full quite quickly. Obviously you can delete games and reinstall them at a later date but hardly convenient.

Don't know if any of that helps or not good luck !!

1: Well kind of yes, unlike the 360 where you could just put the disc in and play straight away, with the Xbox One you cant. Some games allow you to start playing after 20% installed or so, others don't. but it doesn't bother me, its just something you
    get used too.

2: Installations can take anywhere between 20 minutes to 45 minutes on some of the launch titles (Ryse was insane for installation time) as someone mentioned unplug your Xbox One from the internet and install it that way. The reason being that the Xbox
One checks if there is an update before it installs the game (there usually is an update these days) so while its downloading the update its also installing the game, this all adds to the installation time.

3: Download speeds are all to do with your internet provider or if your using Wi-Fi, as long as you have it connected to the net using an Ethernet cable your download speed should be decent.

As for how as my xbox One been? its been awesome, never had any problems, no red ring of death etc

@fitshisface - Halo aint just 20GB, that is the size of the release day update, add that to the actual game and it lands at around 60GB

    1. No not really, but in time, should you have a load of games in collection you will eventually run out of hdd space, though im told you can just delete what you don't play and a probable Hdd extension will become available if not already.

    2. found that one installation for Isolation took around 15-20mins.

    3. I'm still using steam powered copper wire broadband 10mb, so will be leaving it to download while i do something else lol.

Since i have bought the xbox one i've become a bit of a billy no mate as none of my other gamer friends have got one yet I'm considering buying an Xbox One and I have some questions. :(.

    Hey buddy.

The best way to install your games is like this:

First - Disconnect from the internet and input your disc. Then it loads the game onto your hard drive very quickly.

Second - Connect to the internet and start the game. This gives you the first update. If the update is a GB or more you're probably best to go do something else while it loads. If you can distract yourself for 10 minutes or so you'll be OK. If you do
stuff on the ONE while you're downloading a patch then you're tying up resources and it takes a little longer.

    Hope that helps.
