I'm connected to Xbox Live, but not anymore when starting up a game...

I can connect to Xbox Live just fine, but when I start up a game, I'm just suddenly not connected to Xbox Live anymore. So, when I try to connect to Xbox Live again while in the main menu of the game (this is the case with EVERY game, not just one game),
it just doesn't connect. It gives me the "Signing in" interface, and it's stuck on that for minutes, while it's supposedly signing in. After a couple of minutes, it gives me this:



When I click "Test Connection", it bring me to the Network settings, and when I test my connection, it works just fine. Like, I can easily sign in to Xbox Live on the Dashboard, but I'm just not connected to Xbox Live as soon as I start up a game. Also the
Avatars of the people in my friend list don't show up. Rather, I see white characters instead. Yesterday I had the SAME thing, I became angry, and just reseted my entire Xbox, deleted my profile, downloaded my profile, and the problem was fixed. But that took
me a full hour, and I don't want to do that EVERY SINGLE DAY. When I get on my Xbox, I wanna play, not waste 1 hour in resetting everything.

The last thing I did, before this glitch happened, was playing the game I wanna play right now, and then using the "Turn off Console" option to quit that game. Then, when I came back online, this glitch happened. Could it be that
turning off the Console while playing a Multiplayer game can cause such a thing? It's the only thing in common with the last occurrence.

It's a known issue with the Xbox Live service, from what I gather. They are working on it, according to the status page, one of the few pages on xbox.com that works. For updates, visit
support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status.

I am in no way, shape, or form a Xbox support tech. Hopefully they will get it sorted out soon.

 

Cant stay connected to Xbox LIVE when starting up a game.

I can connect to Xbox Live just fine in the dashboard. The problem occurs when I go to load/play a game. As the game is loading I check the status of my connection I notice I'm no longer connected to Xbox Live but still signed in to my profile.

It never gives a notification of disconnecting me and it doesn't give any errors if I test my connection. If I try to connect to Live again it says my connection has been lost and to try sign in again. Each time I've tested my connection it has shown no
problems either, this is also the first time this has happened.
