I’m being signed out, not sure if it’s a security issue

So I’ve been having this issue for a while where I will randomly be signed out of my account and disconnected from Xbox live. It only happens late at night or early in the morning. I’m not sure if it’s a security issue because I always immediately sign back
in and it never says “signed out elsewhere”. I’ve changed my password multiple times recently and only write them down on physical paper that I keep private, but it keeps happening.

There was one unsuccessful sign-in attempt from someone in Vietnam, but nothing else out of the ordinary in my sign-in history. What else could be causing all this?

you can check to see if it's somebody else signing into your account by going to https://account.microsoft.com/security/ and
selecting sign in activity.

if it is someone else signing in you need to go to
https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/manage-account/compromised-account-solution

if it isn't then it sounds like a network problem.

Hi

When you visit family members or friends XBox One one day make sure you change your password.

It best to tell your Internet Provider. Ask them to reboot you cable modem, router to check it system. request a new dynamic ip address or if you on a biz program request a new static IP address.

Every month always as for a new IP address.

Try to use a VPN.. To protect your connection.

Thank you I’m hoping I’m able to get into it tonight . I have the card which my live is being taken out of and the id and ect . Only thing I’m not sure is my security question and past passwords . I know the current one though . Will this affect it?

Sorry you're having issues with your login settings. Try the link below and see if the process does or does not work for you. If it does not work, then I would suggest trying a hard reset of the console. To do this hold the power button down for 10
seconds until the console quickly shuts off. Then turn your console back on. The boot process from this likely will take longer than normal.

Can you tell us what the reason of the security code being sent? Usually that's for account verification or account recovery.
