Im being harassed by a guy name Chives. He has created several dummy accts.

There is this guy. We played on WoTs. He pushed me to my death. Half the team witnesses him do it and i wasnt the only one. Several of us report him only to take notice that this guy, Chives. Has a bad reputation. I tell Chives that i reporting him for unsportsman
like conduct for team killing and that im blocking him so i dont have to ever play with him again. He gets on two accts later on in a hr span sending me messages that i wont bring up here. Well tonight he created a account called Not Not Chives. He tells me
his main was banned and such and how he is going to to be sending bots after me to have me banned. I call xbox live support asking them for help cause this is his 4th account now! The women tells me how she doesnt care. Its enforsement! I have been a loyal
supporter of xbox live! I have had xbox live for over a decade! And this is how xbox live support treats me! I mean maybe xbox live needs to be sued cause my case is hardly no different than other cases out there! Clearly the enforcement team at xbox live
needs to start doing some investigating into some of these cases! Cause Chives is just a small number of sickos out there that need the ban hammer to better ensure the safety of the real gamers! Ban his IP and i promise. He will think twice. RCMP cyper crimes
unit gets the weekend off i think. But come tomorrow i will seek a number to call and start by taking legal action.

Gamer Tag Name

I created an Xbox live account years ago and my son created the gamer tag name. Needless to say he has adult privelages. I need to figure out how to move his tag name to a child acct.

 

Need a fourm Head moderator

I am looking to speak with the head person for the forums about a problem my brother has with powers to be. It seems he was harassed by another player in the topic he posted and also was not on topic when he was harassing him. Now I also read the email responce
from a moderator. and was said to be abusive. This in fact was not abusive and I belive the harassed player was friends with the moderator. The 2nd post I can understand being abusive but not the first and I belive abusive of power is here in MS. I also see
that the harassed player was not bannned either which is wrong. If i read your rules and have spoken to several
Xbox Ambassador which they informed me that not being on topic and harassing another player is terms for being banned.

 

What about changing your Gamertag ?

That way you shouldnt come across him again.

 

that is actually a pretty good idea. My GT is involved with clans and such but yeah ill stick a number next to my GT and hope that helps. Sad it has to come to that. Xbox live should just ban the kid.

 

Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

Report & block anyone harassing you via your console.

No need to pay for a gamertag change,the tools are there to block people,you can even set comms to friends only if need be.

 

A gamertag change is a bit ott but if he continually harrasses him surely changing gamertags would put a stop to it.

 

So would setting comms to friends only.

I just think it's a waste of money to change his/her gamertag when the tools are there on the console to prevent this person from communicating with them.

It would be that hard for this individual to find out the new gamertag if they wanted.

 

look mate! Im putting this out there asking for help. Paying money to get rid of a sick person harrasing me isnt fair nor is it even right! You want to ding me because im telling the community of a person who is creating double accounts just to cause problems
for me. As for setting comms to friends only. They took that option off the xbox one a long time ago and even than i dont mind people dropping a hello lets party up and play GTA or something together. It is not right that i be punished and mis treated by somebody

Calling out gamertags is against the forum rules which is why I said you can't do it.If the forum mods actually did something around here then it should of been removed by now.

I'm telling you your options for preventing this person from harassing you.

The option to set comms to friends only has not been removed,it's always been there in you account settings on your console.

If you want to waste money on a gamertag change then go ahead,chances are it wont stop this person from finding you & doing the same thing

You see badger. You clearly dont understand what it means to be bullied. To have some one create a new account and because they have xbox live for one account it means he has it for the others too. And to have him send hate messages because he loses a match.
This guy has created 13 accounts now just for that same reason. So badger. You wish to report me for trying to get xbox live to see i have a issue with someone. And to get the support i need to permanently have this guy stop harrasing me than go ahead. Just
remember this thou badger. This forum is for support. Hate me for asking for help and you support the bully. Support me and your showing this bully needs to go away. And let me make this perfectly clear! Im not asking anyone to report him. Im asking for xbox
to disallow him from talking to me or sending me messages. Example being. Block his IP adress so that he may only have so many accounts sending messages. Thats it.

 

You're actually posting in a discussion forum, not a support forum. Either way, support doesn't handle enforcement issues. They would tell you the same thing Daft has. It may not be the answer you want to hear, but he has given you the correct information.

I know exactly what it's like to be bullied so don't assume anything about me.

You have the tools to stop it & have been told what to do.

but yet harrasing which is against the law is supported by xbox enforcement and xbox live support cause they arent stopping him. Which is why i put it in discussion. Enough people saying bulling is wrong should tell xbox live and its enforcement team know
that harassing and abuse is wrong and deal with this person.

 

You've been told what to do.

Harassment is certainly not supported by the enforcement team so like you've been told,report & block any one harassing you over xbox live & they will be investigated.

You can carry on posting here as much as you want,it wont get this person stopped.Reporting via your console is they only way to report someone.
