    I’m being billed for $7.41 monthly on two different charge cards. I want to know if one is for x-box gaming stuff and the other is for computer related stuff. Or are they both for the same thing, just being billed twice.

    There's a possibility that you have billed for 2 different subscriptions or the same subscription in 2 different accounts.

    It would be best to check on this link https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders to confirm what type of subscription was charged to your account.

    If ever you were charged twice for the same subscription and you want to cancel, you can proceed to the steps below.

    For you to cancel your subscription and refund it you can follow the steps below:

    1. Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services

    2. Click on the subscription that you want to cancel then click Manage

    3. Click Cancel Subscription

    Under "When should we end your subscription?" Kindly choose Today so it will be refunded but you'll lose access to your subscription immediately.

    If you no longer have an option to Cancel the subscription, you can submit a manual refund for it.

    These are called authorization charges, they are temporary and every banking institution has a different time frame in returning these funds to you. Remember, they are not actual charges (not apart of your monthly statement) and are returned to you within either
    72 hours or your next billing statement period.

    Hi Aaron,

    The card is used as a billing address mostly. You do not get charged at all with adding a card on your profile. As far as currency being used for backward compatible purchases you can use the currency on a 360. The reason why it not usable on the Xbox one
    is they are two different servers. When you play a backward compatible game you are connecting to 360 servers.

    Why would they not keep my xbox live after i already paid for it after taking my card off?

    Based on what you had posted here you may have had Xbox Live Gold up until Feb 8th. Most likely, it was in the middle of the monthly subscription and they may have canceled the sub and removed the pending charge.

    The other issue about being charged twice for Xbox Live is again an issue when the system tries to charge your card for a month and there's either not enough funds or the bank doesn't process the charge. Meanwhile your subscription remains active but the
    charge is pending. Then you get into the next month of Xbox Live gold and the charge for the last month and the next month go through when there's funds on the card.

    Xbox Support should be able to see when your billing date is and see the pending and attempted charges and then finally the successful charge for those two previous months.

    Best bet is to contact support but ensure you know specifically what you are referring to. What charge? How much? What service is it charged for?

    You may have a subscription recurring you arent aware of or an overdue amount that has been taken

    Either way they will resolve it for you
