    This is not my primary Xbox profile. It's one I created separately some time back.

    I'll start off by saying this, please forgive me if I come across as arrogant, it's not my intention. I'm merely

    exasparated by the utter lack of support I've had from Microsoft.

    I am/was a huge advocate of Xbox and have had Xbox products since 2001 (launch buyer) and Xbox live Gold since around 2003. If this issue Is not resolved, or acknowledged (I'd settle for a MS emoyee telling me it's a known issue and will be fixed) I will
    unfortunately be forced to move brand, as I'm having 0% fun with Xbox at the moment.

    I will start from the beginning. Around 6-8 weeks ago I was having some real issues with not being able to add friends or them not being able

    to add me. I removed my profile and redownload it which appeared to resolve the issue (great!). However, when you remove a profile

    your local saves are removed also (still in cloud so all good) but upon launching Halo 5, the data sync screen appeared and then gave me an error. That sucks, I thought. So, I moved on to the Witcher.. 15 minute synchronising up to 90% then it also failed.
    I tried another, Horizon 2 - exactly the same. I cannot sync my data for ANY of my games yet they're quite obviously in the cloud.

    Please help, because at the moment I'm payong for Xbox Live and cannot play my games. I cannot even start a new save temporarily as it will

    overwlite my cloud save if it ever tries to sync.

    what I've done so far:

    • redownloaded profile
    • cleared cache
    • reset modem
    • deleted all local data
    • cleared alternate mac
    • deleted persistent Storage
    • alternate network tried
    • tried launching game when signed out
    • factory reset
    • reinstalled game
    • tried alternate games
    Now, as you can see it would appear that by process of elimination, the only outstanding factor here is Microsoft Servers.

    please help me, if not, I will have to very reluctantly move to PS4 which is really, really sad as I love my Xbox.

    Hey there Stunted,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with your router.

    I've been doing some digging and it does sound like you might have a NAT or double NAT issue.

    For that particular router is looks like hardware versions 3.0 and below may give the Xbox NAT Errors which are unresolvable. Double checking that may give a better idea if that is the issue. You may be able to request a different router from your
    ISP.

    If that is not the culprit, this may still be a tough nut to crack.

    Thought not an official support suggestion, you can check out
    Shadowman UK's Unofficial Guide to LIVE
    . To find your router steps easier, you can hit Ctrl+f and search for "WRT range".

    Please let us know how that goes.

    maybe your router is the problem , try plugging directly into the modem or test the xbox on a different network...

  6. if you got the same results on a different network , it sounds like your profile has become corrupted on some "server level" ...(if that even exists) only thing I could think to try is if a friend has an xbox one you could try and download your profile
    on his and see how it acts.....
