I'm appearing online, yet everyone sees me as offline; I see everyone as offline, when ...

Hello,

So yea, list of problems (X1 kinectless):

- I'm always showing as offline (and I set it to appear online).

- I can't ever see anyone online (even if they are confirmed to be)

- Major irregularities between console activity feed and the one on xbox.com on my PC (I'm missing all recent updates from friends on console, PC has it all)

- Cant send or receive friend requests.

Please note:

- Nat is OPEN.

- All test nominal!

appearing offline even though profile says "appearing online"

So, I also am having this same issue. I have tried all the above things as well and even though it shows on my screen that I'm online ...... I appear offline to everyone. I have power cycled the unit. I have unplugged all my internet stuff. I have tried
to change myself to Offline and back to Online. still shows to everyone on my friends list as being Offline. I'm online now, but if you're to look me up : JEEPERGUY you will find me as offline. I'm a little frustrated because I actually had put myself as
Offline for a few days, then when I changed myself back to Online, my friends still say that I'm Offline. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

 

Friends offline glitch

most of my friends don't appear offline, but when some of my friends and I were playing online, the party glitched and now everyone is appearing online when they really are not. is there a way to fix this and if so how

 

your router is?

Itś possible that it stops ICMP - some of them? Most Routers have an option like "respond ping request from wan" and they disable it - because of security. If you have this option (sometiomes called "internet ping" then I would try to enable it to see if
the Problem is gone.

Be sure you run the latest Firmware for your Router.

 

If you set your profile on "show online" and still appear as "offline" please also check your privacy settings as there is an item "allow others to see my online status" which may override your setting if it's configured to hide your status from all.
