Please know that we can't change a child account to an adult account. You need to wait for the system to promote the account once it detects that it's already a child account based on the date of birth that you provided or set when you first set up the account.

There is no adult account for my child account so I cant change my child account setting. I want to purchase something but cant since i cant find my adult account. When i press on family, it only comes up with my child account.

The only way is to create a new account as a child account. The birthday on Xbox.com is the one that cant be changed once it is set. So the adult account will stay an adult account. If you make a child account and the games are on his adult account. Set
the adult account as home, put a passkey on it so he cant log on it. Then the child account can use the gold and the games.

what do i change on adult accounts? adult ones are set to aus and have phone number and email, i have tried changing the adult ones to UK to match child one but still unable to create family groups

First question, are you using a child or an adult account.

I ask because if it's a child account, you can't change them without an adult account
