Im a insider member, I beleive my prepaid 12 month xbox live was cancled from being a member

I got a 12 month card and typed in the code on 12/26/16 and played xbox roughly 5 months now I have no xbox live gold. I talked to a xbox support agent and he saw that it said it was cancled the same day 12/26/16, he cant do anything besides give me a 3
month gold thing for not being able to help.

I was not able to confirm any reason for the cancellation here on my

side. I am giving you 3 months though, since I don't want you to be

without Gold while this is sorted out.

I would appreciate help so im not robbed of 6 months of xbox live

Xbox Live not downloading new gold purchase

I am having a similar problem. Purchased 12 Month Live Gold Subscription Prepaid Card, entered the code online, and both online and on the console our Live account shows us to be a 12 Month Gold Member, but it won't let my kids start or join a party. Says,
"You must be an XBOX Live Gold Member to join a party." What????

and Xbox Live Trial Gold members purchasing a subscription are not eligible. Each three (3) month Xbox Live Gold membership purchased during the Program Period will earn thirty (30) Microsoft Points, up to a maximum of one hundred-twenty (120) Microsoft Points
during a twelve (12) month period. To renew your Xbox Live Gold subscription, either redeem a Prepaid Live Gold subscription, purchase a subscription from your Xbox 360 console’s Dashboard, or visit

So basically, if you've already redeemed 4 3 month cards during the last 12 months, you are only able to earn a maximum of 120 points. That could explain why you are missing points.
