Well never thought I'd be saying this but credit where credits due the game has actually become playable and yes I will admit it's starting to grow on me. Much improved on the lag front and that so so makes it a more pleasurable experience. Even started
to win a few FFA games and generally I'm now finishing in the top three. Only play FFA so can't comment on other modes but I will now not be throwing it on eBay. Faith restored, happy days.

Ok : watch me eat my humble pie- I know its not EA (Im pis s ed with them too for the problems with COD4 -another disapointing multiplayer experience).

Still, these companies need our business. If we continue to accept this level of shoddy service, it will only continue.

 

I am the opposite. I read a post on the CoD forums about setting and that being the issue with lag. So, just to say I did it I went through the settings. Now, I have open NAT and my connection is way above enough. With this game the lag is awful at times.
I can have a games where I can put a whole clip of ammo into the back of a player while he uses his clip to kill the other 2 teammates of mine and spins and kills me. In total that is a lot of bullets to sponge up.

I will admit that I was on the other side of this once. I could have had 30+ kills with probably no deaths. But I died 2 times on purpose and sure enough I was dang near invincible. So I messed around a lot to see how much it would take to kill me. 1.5
clips+ for each death. All I had to do is shoot a few bullets for kills. This is compared to typically it taking me at least half a clip or more for one kill in most matches with shots to the chest and face. Aiming down the sites and some player comes sprinting
around the corner and slides. Whole clip hits to the chest and head. Player hits me a few times low with the SAME weapon and I die. Sure, my k/d is generally good but not in these matches. I have had 5-6 matches in a row of 2+ k/d with some over 3 only
to have .4-.5 matches where I cannot really engage because I will be instantly killed.

And checking the ping meter I can always tell. It will be jumping around in these matches. At that point the game is having problems really telling who is actually doing what. My son, another connection entirely, takes advantage of this. He has a good
system that seems to give him an advantage. I call it cheating since he knows what is going on but it helps him do so well.

And those matches where we are up big and then the lag hits at just the right time. The other team is now moving around strangely and moving faster than normal. Cannot hardly kill them with 2-3 of us shooting them and they recover from this huge hole.
We had 61 tags to 40 one match and within 30 or so seconds they had taken the lead. Not sure what that was but it happened a few matches in a row with similar scores and certain players just basically not able to be killed.

 

The game still looks like it is lag dependent. Meaning someone whether they have good or bad connection will have a great or bad game. I will stick with titanfall for a few months and if things get better, then I will give it another try. Titanfall is
too smooth for me to put it down and play AW again. I average between 18 and 30 m/s ping with 3 to 4 bars every game. If I shoot at a pilot with my hemlock, I kill them with one burst or pull of the trigger. If I shoot at them with my pistol, they are dead
in 3 rounds and 1 round if its a headshot. NO matter who it is, consistency every time. You don't get that in a cod game.

 

It's CoD, it's what the CoD franchise has been since CoD2.

 

I take it back I won't be eating any pie, back to a pile of doggy doo tonite, disappointed.

Your wrong juice they added jump super suits. They borrowed a concept from the old 007 games. But you are right also in the fact that the game is pretty much the same as Mw3 with pick system, bo1 and 2 with all the custom paint for your guns. Its the
same old thing but people still buy it.

Absolutely. I am sure many just hit x to re-spawn without looking and seeing. I know the replay is off and such. But I have verified some of the replays with what I saw, what the replay was showing, and the player on the other side of that as I have had
occasion where I happen to know the person. Seems that at least sometimes it is correct. And I get lag a lot. Had a match that I started out very well. All of a sudden, about half way through, the ping bars drop. I could tell something was off so I checked.
Sure enough everybody but 2 players had red ping bars. No surprise that they were starting to dominate. These players finished amazingly and went from not doing so hot to blowing us away by themselves. Just happens to often.

Then, I get a double XP for 25 minutes. End up losing a lot of that since I had a very laggy TDM and then a Kill Confirmed where connection to host was lost. Hate those connection to host lost games. Never a good thing even if I am doing terrible.

Not really sure why I am still playing this when I have Titanfall. May just get BF4 as I have had better luck with that even early on most of the time. My w/l and k/d may be worse on that game but I just have more fun. Figured this CoD may be different
on the One so I took the chance. Oh well.

 

I've experienced some lag and issues online, but nothing really that bad. I'm enjoying Advanced Warfare a lot actually and it's taken me away from Titanfall and Destiny.

 

Still laggy with fibre 80/20 Mbit.. ping is ridiculously high unless you live in the states by the looks of it. 20 ms to London and 160-250 to cod servers LOL. Upgraded to Xbox one AW zero day and got zero play as it not preloaded and a dashboard update
/ game download on DSL. Fibre installed after to combat the lag.. still no joy.

Come back local search with simple algorithm match making.
