    Hi Sean!

    Please be informed that a Microsoft account's primary email address cannot be used or attached to a different account because it's unique to each of our accounts. Your own gamertag or account must have a different email address other than the one you used to setup your son's account.

    May I know which device did you setup your son's account and which device you last signed in your own account or gamertag?

    Alternatively, you could try to recover your account through this link https://account.live.com/username/recover using your gamertag or phone. Before you begin, make sure that you sign out the account that's currently signed in to https://account.microsoft.com website.
