iLive sound bar control

I got an iLive sound bar. I have it connected through the optical audio and I have sound. I cannot get the Xbox One to control it though. I do have sound and I am connected through optical audio. I have a IR Blaster as well but nowhere can I found the universal
remote codes the Xbox One uses for ANY DEVICE! Why offer the feature if you are not going to provide any information on how to use it?

So, in order to control the iLive sound bar, I need the remote code the Xbox One will use to control the device.

Also, there may be an alternate brand that may work with iLive. For example, the original Xbox used the codes that RCA DVD players use.

Does anyone know how I can get the Xbox One to control the iLive sound bar ?

How to connect sound bar and xb1

Just bought an ilive 37 in sb. I currently have my direct and tv running to my xbox 1. How do I connect my sb so that I can get sound when watching TV and playing games?

Sound bar has red/white out or optical out. TV does not have optical

Xbox One sound control question

Is it possible to control which device the Xbox One send the volume signal to? I have my X1 going HDMI into a sound bar, and the sound bar HDMI into the TV. Is it possible to send the volume control signal to the TV? Right now the X1 sends the signal to
the sound bar.

I have the exact same question. Olive sound bar with optical cable to Xbox one. I have heard you need to push the single out through your tv . Xbox - hdmi-tv-optical out- I live soundbar.

I have not tried this as my tv is mounted and would be a pain to take it off its mounting and fish the cable through the wall.

I've conned my X1 to a Samsung sound bar via optical cable. Sounds works well, but no volume control.

I have tried every setting I can find for sound and game bar. I found nothing that controls the volume of app output when Game Bar is recording.

But where exactly do you mean when you say "sound of the Game Bar in Windows Settings"
