Gostaria de saber se alguém poderia me ajudar. Eu fiz o resgate gratuito do jogo Ikagura mais ele não aparece na minha biblioteca, sabe o motivo?

I wonder if anyone could help me. I redeemed the free game Ikagura but it doesn't appear in my library, you know why?

    Anyone played Dodonpachi Resurrection?

"Dodonpachi: Ressurection" is awesome shmup fun.

It's more like "Ikagura" than "Deathsmiles" in the sense that even without powerups you can look like you're pulling off a Capcom Ultra-Hyper-Combo Finish but you're only using your default gun.

You should be able to pick "Dodonpachi" at GAME for £ 10.00 new which is a great deal.

Also keep an eye out for "Akai Katana" which is the latest CAVE schmup to be released on the 360.

You can get a copy from Amazon and Shopto but the price is slowly creeping up as we get closer to launch date.

    Cave make great games.

    This does look very good!

Question is though, do I pick it up before Skyrim or wait untill later in the year :)

If you look at "Deathsmiles" you can pick this up for £ 12 - £ 14 now. Depending how many copies of "Dodonpachi" flood the market I wouldn't be surprised to see the price eventually dip to something similar.

You just don't want it to get scarce like copies of "Two Worlds II" or "Battle vs Chess" (mind you these were only available directly from the developers and that's not the case with "Dodonpachi").

I saw a guy on Youtube unboxing his Japanese version stating that MS weren't so keen on doing direct arcade ports and for this reason Cave opted to release it on Disc (because fans of their games basically begged them to).

There is supposed to be DLC in the pipe line with the "Black Label Edition" and other modes available later.

The review above gives it an 8/10 but anyone unfamiliar with the genre should be clear it's a SHMUP (Shoot'emup) in the old school style of "R-Type" and "Ikagura".

Just goes to show the power of good gameplay.

    The CAVE Rave

It seems best suited as an Arcade game and not for retail even if it is at a low price. I would rather see super top quality next-gen-esque titles being released in boxes. Maybe more people would be inclined to give it a purchase if it was on the Xbox Live
    Arcade Marketplace.

They could have been released as "LIVE Arcade" titles like "Ikagura" but I'm glad CAVE took the time to update their Coin-Op classics and release them on disc.

If you're put off by your games having re-sale or trade in value you could always wait until they're released on Games On Demand?

There's no shortage of quality titles on the 360 and CAVE's contributions only serve to swell the ranks.

I enjoy "Modern Warfare 3" but I've been shooting people since the original "Wolfenstien".

CAVE rekindle the genre and playstyle of the retro 2D side scrolling shooters where the acheivement was in getting the highest score and mastering the game while injecting it with a dose of Crack Cocaine visuals.

You're not going to play it and think "Wow... this is better than "Skyrim". But as you get to grips with how the game plays you start to appreciate just how much fun a decent SHMUP can be.
