If you stream, what platform do you use and why?

I am on Twitch just because it was the more well known platform at the time. Curious to know the opinions of those that use Mixer or YouTube as well.

How Do You Stream?

Curious to find out from our community.

Do you stream? If so, what channel do you use? Do you use a capture card or do you stream directly from the console?

I am a full-time Mixer streamer. Most of my streams are done on console except when doing creative or playing WoW. I do not have the ability to run a capture card and streaming direct from the XBOX is very easy!

 

What character/s do you use? abilities do you use?

Vector (AC/Mimicry) and Lupo (SS/Incendiary).

 

I use mixer because it's native to the console and easy to use for streaming.

 

Mixer is my go to. It's simple and quick to get started and stream through. There are plenty of people there.

 

Mixer because he setup is a breeze and it has way more low latency than Twitch

 

I use Mixer. It's easy to use straight from the Xbox and it's a smaller more tight-knit community so fewer trolls and it's easier to build a friendly community of your own.

 

When I stream I use mixer only because it’s already on here

 

Mixer is well optimized for Xbox. It's also gaining more popularity everyday, however it's still in need of more optimization.

 

If you want viewers to reply quickly and little or no delay I suggest mixer. It's also very easy to use. Mixer still tends to have some issues every once in a while though.

So if I had to choose I'd go for mixer and if you experience a lot of issues consider changing back to twitch.

 

Twitch but am considering migrating more towards Mixer

 

Mixer. I like the interface better.

 

If I ever do stream. It's generally for friends on Xbox Live to check out a game I'm playing.

So I use Mixer. It's easy for them to connect to my broadcast by going to my gamertag in the guide. I can also share the controller with them if they'd like to give the game a shot for a little bit.

 

I don’t stream, but I prefer to watch Twitch. The Twitch app is a million times more stable than the Mixer app.

The reason I do not like Mixer unless it’s an ambassador stream is because they have the most annoying feature. It’s actually a head scratcher as to why they have it. The give the viewers the ability to have some sort of gif pop up on screen over and over
and over. It’s so annoying that I refuse to use it, unless it’s an ambassador I want to see.

 

I used Mixer for some time was easier to use plus i like the Low Latency
