if you play xbox on another console

if you play xbox 360 on another console that's never been hooked up to xbox live do you start all over on games and get another game tag name or can you use what you have already been using on the other xbox console you started out with ?

If you can play on another console, then your console would have been banned. If you can't play on another console, then your account is still suspended.

 

Redownloading a purchased game

Hi if you downloaded it on another xbox, did you transfer the license? If not are you trying to play it while conected to xbox live. As if the license is on another console you will need to be connected to be able to play.

 

Before you can use your Xbox profile on a different
console, you need to either download it to a different console from the Xbox Live service,
or from a portable storage device, such as a flash drive or memory unit. You can download your Xbox
profile to multiple consoles.

If they are both online and connected to live, just sign into the other console with your current gamertag/account. You will have to install any digital games on your account to the system (or put in the physical disk). If you use cloud saves it will
sync your save games to the other console.

Not to worry, all your data, achievements, and games saves are synced to your account! You simply need to redownload your profile on the Xbox you wish to play on.

Follow these steps to do so:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
2. Select Download Profile.
   Note Not seeing Download Profile? This means that you’re signed in under another profile. Press the X button on your controller to sign out, confirm, and then select Download Profile.
   
3. At the bottom of the Download Profile screen, select Download Profile.

1. Enter the email address of the Microsoft account that’s associated with your Xbox profile. If you don’t know it, see the Lost
   Account Solution.
2. Enter your Microsoft account password. If you’ve forgotten it, you’ll need to reset your password.
   Note If you have a child account, your parent’s Microsoft account information is required to download your Xbox profile on the Xbox 360.
   
3. If you use external storage on your console, select the storage device on which you want to save your Xbox profile. If you don’t use external storage, your Xbox profile will begin downloading.
4. After you download your Xbox profile, you’ll be asked if you want the console to remember your password.

• If you want to sign in without being prompted for a password each time, select the Remember Password option.
  Keep in mind that when you choose this option, anyone who uses your console can sign in as you and use your account information. This includes any credit card information you might have saved.
  
• Leave the Remember Password option unchecked if you want the console to require a password to sign in to your account. This is a good idea if others in your home can easily access your console, or if you downloaded your Xbox profile at
  a friend’s house.

Important If you downloaded your Xbox profile to another console and you chose the Remember Password option, you can remotely remove the password so that your Xbox profile can’t be accessed by someone on the other console.

To add to some of what the others have said.

In regards to game saves. If you're using a USB Flash drive to store your account profile. You can place some game saves on the portable storage device with your account profile. That would be the only way to have access to your saved data if going onto
an offline console.

When your on a 360 sometimes you can create a profile that is NOT a gamertag or a Microsoft account but SAVE account to save your progress. If the gamer name that you have now is not connected to an email and password it will not be transferable. If it does
