If you go digital be prepared....

The game itself is just shy of 55 gb (this is not counting any of the preorder dlc or day 1 patch) so those who have limited storage space might want to think what they can do away with.

Cross Game Queueing?

During the original Xbox One announcement there was discussion of being able to queue in one game while playing another. I understand that players would require to have all digital or be prepared to change discs on the fly, but has this feature been added
already? If so, how do you go about queuing for one game while playing another?

 

that or just buy an external hard drive. Example I have a 2 TB hard drive attached to my xbox one and on top of that I have replace my Internal Xbox Hard drive with a 1 TB Hard drive.

Those are the 2 options you can do if you don't want to delete anything.

 

Indeed it is but some people don't want to buy one. I picked up a 2 TB Toshiba for $70

 

It's the same for disc owners tho...no advantage

 

yup exactly that because of course every game now requires to install before playing so regardless you still are gonna be installing 55 GB.

 

In the long run, digital will possibly be better off... Install the game now and get it out of the way ready to install the day one patch, or get the disc, and install the game and the patch at the same time which everybody knows that, that is a slow option
unless you go in offline mode first.

 

I am going digital just because I can download it pre launch and then do the patch when I am at work tuesday morning. Come 7 PM when I get home from work.... grunge time!

 

That is all I am talking about. The download time vs the install from disc time can tend be longer. If you plan to go digital pick it up as early as possible.

 

What's your D/L speed. I'm only 40mbs/5Mbs and the beta only took about 5 hours to get

 

I have limited data so I will definitely be going offline with the disc them coming online for that god awful patch that will eat up my data ;_;

 

I just delete game I am no longer playing and/or done with. Will get an external later on if need be. At least with digital you get to download it ahead of time. Just downloaded mine yesterday.

 

Sadly I had no choice but to get an external. Got a 2 TB Toshiba at Bestbuy for $80 Before that I had 2.3 GB free and had another 16 games that couldn't be downloaded XD

 

If you can swing it, buy a
SSD drive with a SSD enclosure. Specifically get a
UASP supported enclosure.

With the USB 3.0 UASP ports on the Xbox One, you will actually get FASTER loads times on the SSD external drive than you do with the internal, 500gig mechanical drive.

I've tested it on games like Destiny and Forza, as have others (Google), and the load times are better.
