If you don't like the Kinect, then don't buy an X1...

This would physically mean there are 0 PS4s on any shop shelf anywhere in the 50 states. That's impossible.

They are focusing on hardware shifted because no one is buying the exclusives and bringing in cash because they suck.

No, by the "Since we launched on November 15th, we’ve sold every PS4 available in the US," it means demand is FAR outweighing supply, which is very true.

Unlike the Xbox where there readily available in the vast majority of stores in both the US and UK, the PS4 is still very hard to get hold of most of the time

There haven't been more games sold for the X1 than the PS4. MS hasn't released those figures and only said that *cumulatively* they lead software sales when you combine the 360 and X1 sales. They haven't said a thing about X1 games on their own though, and
probably for good reason.

Actually they have. Xbox One software last month comprised 47% of the market share, 360 software comprised 6% for some reason. That means that combined PS4, PS3 and Wii U have comprised 47% of the market share, so one console beat out three combined.

I like how this thread got hijacked. The whole point of the thread was that everyone here is saying if you don't like X1 the way these "early adopters" like it, don't buy it.

I'm sure that's exactly what Microsoft wants to hear.

How can a console that has sold less sell more games? Especially when there was some story about PS4 owners buying on average 3 or 4, I can't remember the number, games during launch.

It would take every X1 owner buying games.

I googled "is the PS4 or Xbox One selling more games" and this is the closest thing I got:

The Kinect was why I bought my X1. I almost bought a $150 Kinect for my 360, but didn't.... now I have it... I use it for Skype. Best $100 web cam you will buy..... IMO.....

@UnyoBro You aren't forced to do a thing. If X1 is too pricy because of Kinect then don't buy it. Its not like price drops don't happen anyway...

OP if you can't affod it then don't buy it.

I will buy maybe 3 kinect only games in the X1's life cycle yet I will use the Kinect every time I use the X1.

Actually they do have to lose the option of getting the X1 if they really don't want the Kinect that bad. You are stating an opinion that the X1 will function fine minus the Kinect. I can not state it will or it won't but what is at the core here is the system
is sold with a Mandatory item called the Kinect. that is the Fact it is not an add-on.

You are not entitled to buy a gaming system you are not entitled to have it your way. You are offered a product that has mandatory pieces to it. Pretty simple really if you like the system you buy it if you don't you don't. You want to stick with Xbox then
Kinect is now part of the system and integral for it to function. How? why? We are still waiting for details. A company is offering you a system that THEY feel works best as the unit is being sold. You feel differently to this and that is fine so you are left
with two choices then. Buy a Xbox One or Don't.

So tell me then. If the X1 isn't $500 because of the Kinect please tell me what is. Skype? Youtube? Snap? I would really like to know. Yes, the X1 is underpowered compared to it's competition. You would have to be delusional to think otherwise.

Since you didn't read the OP it's obvious you don't get the point I was trying to make in the OP. I'm not talking about how much profit Microsoft makes from the X1. I'm talking about sales in general.

I've seen a lot of people say they aren't going to buy the X1 because they're going to be paying for something they don't want(Kinect). In the OP I gave clear reasons as to why the X1 would be better if Kinect wasn't forced down people's throats.

If you don't like the Kinect, then don't buy an X1...
