The process to recover your account is there so you can prove that you are the rightful owner of the account.

In the past, malicious users had abused untrained support agents via social engineering to gain access to other people's account.

To take the human factor out of the equation, you can only use the recovery form to try to prove you're the owner of the account.

If you fail to provide that proof via the form, Microsoft can't know if you are the owner, of if you are trying to take over someone else's account from which you have gotten a few tidbits of personal information.

Likewise, if you can't provide proof of account ownership, Microsoft can't give you the games on that account.

Otherwise I could simply go to Microsoft, and tell them "Hey Microsoft, I totally forgot how to access *MY* ZionClay account. That ZionClay account is totally mine, and I just forgot my home address, and birthdate. But simply give me all the games on that
account, and I'll be fine. Thank you. And oh, while you're at it, I also forgot how to access my Accounts "MajorNelson", "BarackObama", "E" and uhm, let me think, yeah. That were all my accounts. Simply refund me for all the games and we're good".

Well thet deny the recovery if they feel the proof you gave is insufficient to prove that you are the owner. So if they think it's not ypur account there's no way they would refund anything to you. Also I don't think they would even be able to refund digital
content anyway. The store tells you that whenever you buy digital stuff

I am so sorry you are having issues with your account recovery.

In order to get a refund, you must be able to recover the account first. Some banks also provide chargebacks if eligible.

You should contact your bank to have the payments cancelled directly.

The only system in place is the form.

If you have none of these recovery options then unfortunately your only option would be to use the Account Recovery form here: [https://account.live.com/acsr ] as there is no way to prove your ownership otherwise.

Microsoft agents also cannot open it for you remotely as they do not have the power to do so.

Please be consistent with the form, you can do it twice a day everyday until you regain access.

Try to do it in a geographical area you would usually sign in from. =)

The form is the only recovery system in place that does not use your connected security information.

Microsoft takes account security very seriously, that's why Account Recovery is an automated process with no human influence. If you don't have the correct information, you may not be able to get through account verification using the Recovery Form.

The Account Recovery Process can be a time consuming process, but providing as much info as possible from the start of the process will increase the possibility of being verified by the automated process.
