If Titanfall is not in 1080P then Xbox One is done

The lack of 1080p won't hurt the Xbox One version at all. The game runs just as smooth as the PC version and looks just as good.

 

On that subject, has anyone read the artbook? If any of this stuff is in the full game (Which would be reasonable to assume) we are in for a treat. There is some fantastic design in here.

 

Really!?? I'll bet if I showed you a 720p and told you it was 1080p you would believe it, how about make sure the game runs well and is actually fun to play? Just a thought. If you want the ultimate in graphics go get a high end computer.

 

True. I watched a film on my Kindle the other day, a recent one, and I thought it was 1080p. It doesn't say if it is or not, and I couldn't tell if it was 720p or 1080p. That's a 8.9 inch screen right in front of my face. HD, is HD. To me any way.

 

id rather have 60 fps and good game.

All those consoles I bought over the last 20 or 30 years. All those games I thought were awesome.

I was wrong, so wrong. They're all garbage. Utter garbage. They're not 1080p!!!!! How could I have not realized that this is the only way to make a game great. All those years wasted. How could I have been so stupid.

Please, please, somebody make a 1080p version of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial for the Atari 2600 then I will know what real gaming is.

then owl if u have a gaming pc so u state then why own a xbox one then why not get the games for pc? i love my xbox one and i game on 42 inch tv i sit on the flor 3 feet from the tv titanfall is 900p which for me is good

has every platform? The decision is clear - buy most titles on PC.

For multi-platform titles there's little reason to chose a console over a PC. PCs have
both chat and game streaming. If one is choosing who to play with, one can even forgo KB/M for controller.

But he already HAS the gaming PC.

For the same reason I mentioned earler, multiplayer. I can see choosing Xbox One over PC if one's friends are all on Live.

It isn't. The PC and Xbox One versions are being developed by
Respawn.

SnowOwl3 came here to rant that it's game over for the Xbox One if Titanfall isn't in 1080p. He later revealed that he owns not only an Xbox One, but a PS4, a 360, and a
gaming PC. Why, then, rant over a game that he can play on PC if he so desires? Titanfall is not a demanding title from a GPU perspective. Mainstream and up GPUs can play it. Even my Razer Edge with its GT 640 can play it.

 

FIFA 14 has a side scrolling camera and isn't rendering a great deal of textures or effects. Poor post

 

I bet you can't even tell the difference between 1080p and 720p.

Let me ask this.... can a game be consider GREAT....a 10 out of 10 if its in 720p and has awesome game play? of course, right?

Now, can a game be in 1080p and have so so game play and be a GREAT game....a 10out of 10???

Obviously the answer is no.
