I will never jump ship from Microsoft, even if One flops. Praise MS.

 

Anyone worried about Titanfall 3 now that EA owns the IP?

Titanfall was on life support even before EA bought Respawn. If there is a TF3 and it flops like the second one. That will be the end of the series.

It has two story campaigns.

 

The mistake they made was releasing it on the X360 too. If they wanted to drive console sales, should have taken the Halo 3 approach and just gone next gen only.

I sold my XBone as to me it is not compellingly better than my X360. All these big names coming out are releasing on all platforms it appears. M$ has failed as I expected to win the "value" pitch that the Mattrick sloth pitched months ago

 

Traditional single player campaign I mean.

 

IMO, if titanfall fails (hope not), then the xbox division is in trouble. They are in double trouble if or when Elop takes control as well as he will have extra ammunition to convince the new CEO (can't remember his name) to ditch the xbox division.

 

@ANGRY i think you will find ur numbers are off my friend. xbox one is in 13 countries not 40 ps4 is in 53

 

And though it's coming out on 360, it's actually a separate company doing the port of Respawns game, not respawn itself. Not sure if that means anything or not, nor will I pretend to know how common a practice it is to have a third party do the port. I
would think it means that X1 and PC will be getting better support for it, but I could be wrong.

Titanfall a flop ?

What does it means,good sales but empty servers after 6 months.....or bad sales but enough people plays it to keep servers running for the next 10 years....

Bad sales/reviews/feedback for Titanfall will hurt Respawn (a lot),EA (a little bit),Xbox (not much).

Hopefully,Titanfall is just one of many games coming on Xbox one.....And maybe nobody will remember it after a year or two....Like it happens on Xbox 360,after the release of Gears of war/Mass effect/Halo 3/ect...Everybody forgot there were game called Chromehounds,Lost
Planet,Oblivion.....

 

If Titanfall flops, which I highly doubt it will. This is not a MS game, they probably put up some money but the reason it is on the X1, 360 and PC is because Respawns want to make as much money as possible and didn't think the X1 by itself could do that.

The article I read said that Respawns talked to both MS and Sony and MS was able to provide the servers and support they were looking for, Sony could not and the reason Titanfall is not on the PS4.

So if it flops EA and Respawns will take the fall, not MS.

 

I was going to make a joke about this but it seems like some of you are genuinely scared that I won't do well. lol

Am I the only one here that played Mechwarrior or Armored Core? Anything with mechs is going to do great.

 

But... you don't want it to be forgotten surely? We want it to be a major franchise. I mean, I want it to be a major franchise.

 

I found the beta to be a whole lot of fun, and CoD yearly release sells ridiculously well. I'm not worried about it flopping or servers dying off. I really do think it will be a critical and commercial success. However, I do not think the console war will
be won or lost with on release in the first year of an expected decade long run.
