You may need to update your game to the latest version of Microsoft Ultimate Word Games. There is an update last month as per article: Information about latest Microsoft Ultimate Word Games Update/Version 4.2.10131.0 – Microsoft Casual Games (zendesk.com).

To check the update of the game:

1. Install PC updates including Optional Update. Guide - Update Windows
   
2. Restart device.
   
3. Turn off or disable any apps related to antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer.
   
4. Launch Microsoft Store and search for Microsoft Ultimate Word.
   
5. If update is available install it. If there is no available update, try to launch the game.
   

If issue persists, you may need to report this to the game support for assistance.
