I am wondering if NBA 2K20 Xbox One Game is a region free game?

If I buy a NBA 2K20 Xbox One game code/key in Southeast Asia Countries/Areas(such as Singapore, HongKong etc.), could I activate the game code
directly in USA or any other countries/areas?

Or I would need to use something like proxy in order to activate the game code if I buy it in one country, but activate it in another country?

Please, I need an accurate answer for this question.

As I know, take FORZA HORIZON 4 Xbox One Game for example, when I buy FORZA HORIZON 4 xbox one game code in USA, but I can't activate the game code in South America Countries without using Proxy tool.
