If my xbox is connected to live, after 10 minutes or so my entire internet service drops on ...

As the subject states, im having trouble having my xbox connected. After 10 minutes or so, the Xbox live drops and then simultaneously the entire service. It only happens with my xbox, because i can play on my PS3 fine with no interruptions. After a minute
or two it comes back on and if i reconnect the xbox the same thing happens over and over. If i need to post any info, tell me what because i didnt know if this is some obvious fix so i dont even need to post any other info..

How to connect my Xbox to IPv6?

All other devices are connected to my internet service but, my Xbox One is currently connected to IPv4. How do I get my Xbox in sync with my internet?

 

Weird Temporary "service info is unavailable" !

My xbox one have a weird problem in last few weeks!

Everytime when i turn my console on, it's not connected to xbox live, however network troubleshooter says "it's all good" and NAT type is Open.

I can't do anything to get it connected to xbox live and nothing in dashboard appears (i did every troubleshoots available over xbox site and internet), because it says the console is connected to the Internet.

The weird part is the problem is temporary! As the console connects to Xbox live after about 15-20 minutes itself. And it's happening every time i turn the console on.

What's going on? Why am i have to wait about 20mins to "service info is unavailable" changes to "all services are available"?

Will be appreciated for any help

What kind of router/ modem are you using? What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried till now?

 

Its a Motorola NVG510. Ive tried doing all the basic things, like unplugging it and putting it back in and disconnecting my xbox from the network and then reconnecting.

I should mention that my xbox is the old Elite edition, so it needed a network adapter to be plugged in. Is it something with that perhaps?

 

Too many devices connected to the same wireless can cause problems. Also I assume you've tested the other devices not having problems connecting right next to the xbox to make sure it's not a range issue.

If you have checked the above steps you might just want to check the settings on your router. What might be happening is that the router is giving the 360 console a very low priority compared to the other devices so when one of the other devices needs bandwidth
the 360 gets booted off to make room

 

Ive looked over my setting but didn't see anything for setting priorities. I did however find a NAT/Gaming section that allows me to set up a "application hosting entry" with two drop down menu's. One for a list of applications (xbox live 360 being one of
them) and what device to apply it too. The thing is though, im not sure if this is the problem or if this is necessary at all. It also only lists three entries: Wii, Matt-HP (this computer), and then a random IP number. Is this my xbox or maybe another device?

 

Try to disconnect all other devices and connect only your xbox live. If you still have problems you will need to perform a ports forward. You will find all the info you need here:
