if my controller dies during an online game and I reconnect with a different fully charged 1 the game says that I have to reconnect the old 1 before I can start playing. I have 2 wireless controllers that I charge through a charging station so that if 1
dies I can game on with a fully charged 1 while the other 1 charges. the only way for me to keep playing is to go back to the main screen of the xbox and exit the game and restart the game......... need help with this??????

Controller disconnects often while playing Titanfall

I have the same issues when using the Turtle Beach headphones and my controller while playing TITANFALL. Several times during a game ( with a fully charged battery pack) I will hear a extremely loud buzzing through the headphones and the controller then
disconnects. I then have to pull out the battery pack from the the controller and put it back in. The controller reconnects when I press A. This will then occur a few mores times during a match.

No one else has issues with a headset stopping the controller from working? It will actually disconnect and say, to reconnect controller while playing. Batteries are charged fully.

 

The controller is assigned to the gamer profile when you start the console and sign in. If that controller dies and you grab the other one, the console can't assign it because your profile already has a controller assigned to it. IE: only one controller
can be assigned to each gamer profile at a time. So, your best bet (when a controller should die, that is) just swap the battery packs instead of the controller all together. It saves a bunch of time and you don't have to mess around with controller reassignment.

Another option, if your controller dies mid game, just wire it in until the match is over. Then, you can safely swap controllers or battery packs without killing your K/D... if its FPS your playing, anyway. Hope this helps!
