If Microsoft left the games console industry would they comeback eventually?

It's no secret that the PS4 is dominating in sales.If Microsoft left the console industry,would they ever make a return?

Microsoft need to.

All Microsoft have to do is LISTEN to their customers, former CEO, original Xbox creator, analyists, and most of the industry in general, if they do this they will be ok, if they don't it's GAME OVER for Microsoft in the console business...

Just thought I'd share it with my fellow Xbox One gamers.

 

I believe that is not something that can be answered here as a lot of factors play in to either decision, leaving and/or coming back. However, I don't see any evidence of that actually happening in the near future. They are just now retiring the 360 from
production but I feel confident they will continue to support the 360 community for the next couple of years anyway.

 

Yes, Microsoft is still going strong. While it is true the PS4 has outsold the Xbox, I believe the Xbox got off to a rocky start and is still trying to recover, but I believe it's going in the right direction and I'm loving everything about my Xbox

 

The Xbox One i believe is selling better then the Xbox 360 at this point in time.

 

If the Playstation 4 is doing so well why do it's users feel so threatened by XBox ONE's better experience that they keep coming to the XBox Forums to try and convince people they aren't enjoying themselves?

Oh yeah, because otherwise they'd have to play on their PS 4.

Short answer... No.

MS was looking to sell their xbox division prier to realeasing the xbox one. But the price offered, I think by google wasnt good so MS decided to stay in. ~ Rumor once floated over the web.

However, should they ever sale, MS (Parent company) wouldn't miss consoles at all.

 

Why would Microsoft look into selling the Xbox brand when they did so well last gen. Glad the last guy in charge of it is gone and the Xbox is going in a better direction.
