If I were to purchase a game from the Microsoft.com will it go straight to my Xbox one console?

I was thinking about buying a game but, I wont be able to purchase the game that day on my console so I have no other choice but to try and buy the game in the Microsoft website. And i was thinking ? If i buy this game in the microsoft website, when i
get back from my house will i be able to directly download it ?

Yes, any game you buy on the website will be available in your ready-to-install list on the console.

If you have your console in "Instant On" mode, you can even install it remotely (follow the prompt after buying it) and it will already be downloaded by the time you get home. (Depending on your internet speed, of course.)

XBOX one purchased game card from Walmart used the activation code at microsoft.com/redeem. The game shows up in my purchases BUT when I got to my XBOX it doesnt show up at all

Hi Sigmablaze98! I read your question and here is my solution:

1. If they were digital copies, you should be able to download them straight from your Xbox One console.

2. If they were discs, you will need the disc to play these games.

Also I know I could purchase them straight from my 360 console but that doesn't work for the new OG xbox games.
