If I stop game sharing now can I still get banned?

Stop sharing games with your FRIENDS, it will get you a permanent console BAN.

I was sharing games with a friend back in 2011 on the 360 and my account got permanently banned for marketplace theft. Now I see you can share games with home xbox and game pass and you don't get banned.

Is there any chance of getting my account back now that it is not a bannable offense?

It's been 12 years...I can't submit an appeal because it's been way past 12 months and I don't think you can even submit an appeal on permanent bans even if it wasn't passed 12 months. There is no way of contacting anybody directly to ask that I know of so that's why I'm asking here.

The home xbox game sharing is meant for households with more than 1 Xbox so that games you own can be shared across two Xboxs you own. Its also meant to allow you to still play your games even when you dont have an internet connection. Its not meant to share games with friends/outside of your household and doing so is still a bannable offense.

What if the game is 18 and I share swearing from characters in the game, could peple report me and get me banned?

Also I never games shared and I'm not banned cause I can still go on the game I just can't play cause it still tells me to purchase it still

You can Licence share the games on your console so anyone logging in from that console can get the games you paid for.

however this can only be done every 3 months and abuse of this will result in ban.

ex:

you buy games for 500$ from marketplace.

now you login on your friends console and share the licence.

your friend now has 500$ worth of games for free and you still have yours.
