What is it that you want from us here?

As she stated in the chat, you bought the codes and were reselling them. Therefore, your deal with Microsoft was done already. The fact that your buyer was fraudulent has nothing to do with Microsoft, it has to do with Ebay, and has to be handled through
them.

When selling items on a website such as that (Ebay, Craiglist, Amazon, etc) you run the risk of dealing with fraudulent buyers, and that does not fall back onto the company from which you purchased the product that you are now selling.

If I sold a watch from Express on Ebay and the buyer turned out to be fraudulent, I wouldn't be able to go to Express and ask them for another watch. That is something that would have to be handled through Ebay.

Sorry that this is not what you wanted, but again, this issue is not Microsoft's responsibility.

Had this issue a few years back, unfortunately ebay lands on the side of the buyer. Though the buyer said the code was already redeemed in my case. Personally after that ordeal, I would never sell a digital code on ebay, to easy to fall victim of
this kind of theft/fraud and it is your word against theirs.

That's a good point. They actually may side with the buyer.

Xbox game discs are read only. The console can not write data to game discs. Save data is stored on the console only.

Sell your games and don't worry about it.

i never see the point in trading games in as you never get value for money.

i buy and sell loads of games on ebay and they usually sell for a decent price for the seller,however ebay have fees you need to pay plus the price of posting it to your buyer soon add up.

the best way to put off buyers is to hide a reserve price on your items,buyers just move on to the next one thats for sale.

your better off starting them at a price you want to accept and hope a few people want them.
