If I reset my console, but keep the games, will it remove my console from the family?

Yes all that stuff is storaged on the cloud so no matter what you do to the hardware all thata info/settings will remain the same

Reset console to factory defaults

In this case, please try to factory reset your console:

Press the Xbox button > Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps. The "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.

If the option to "Reset and keep my games and apps" does not work, you would need to try to "Reset and remove everything". This will remove all your games and apps from the console and completely restore the console operational system.

Soft Factory Reset. This will reset the operating system for your console while keeping games and applications installed, hopefully removing and fixing any software issues causing the problem you are experiencing. To perform the reset correctly, be sure
to select "Reset and keep my games & apps" to not remove content from your console for the reset.

- Open Console info

- Select Reset console.

When resetting the console, you have the option to either "Reset and remove everything" or "Reset and keep my games and apps"

I suggest trying the "Reset and keep my games and apps" option if you don't want to risk removing everything.
