If I quit using Xbox Insider, will the store go back to the old one?

I figured it out, I had to go into the microsoft store inside the game, download it through that then quit and relaunch it. Finally worked.

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, glad to hear you want to try out the insider hub. Anyone can register, you need to install the xbox insider hub first of all on either the PC or Xbox One:

Xbox One

Move over to the Store tab on the dashboard or select Store in the guide.

Choose Search.

Enter insider in the box, then select Xbox Insider Hub.

Select Get or Install.

On Windows 10

The Xbox Insider Hub can be installed from Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 PC.

Press the Start button, type store, then select Microsoft Store.

Select Search, enter insider in the box, then select Xbox Insider Hub.

Select Get or Install.

To sign in for the first time (use your gamer tag):

If you weren’t part of the old Xbox Preview Program, you’ll want to search the store for the Xbox Insider Hub. If you were, however, take a look in the updates section of My Games & Apps to update to the Insider Hub.

Accept the terms and conditions after opening up the Xbox Insider Hub

On the main screen for the Insider Hub, go to Insider Content section and select the Xbox One Update Preview section

Simply press the join button on the next page, and you’re in! Just keep in mind that it will take up to 72 hours to start getting preview updates.

I was going to ask you if you were in the Insider program, and you say you are.

It is quite possible that thereis some issue with your installation + the current version of the Insider program.

I would try to go back to normal Windows 10 and having up to date.

Tell us if this fixes your issue please.

It happened when I opened the Xbox Insider app on September 5. The quest was there but the Avatar app wasn't. I looked in both the Insider content and on the Xbox store and wasn't able to find it. I found the old Avatar app though on the store.

Not sure what is going on with the store for you but trying this. Click the Xbox Guide button so that you are viewing your Home screen and you see Max in the Store. With that highlighted (and still at the Home screen), click the Menu button (the old start
button) and you should see Go full screen and Quit. Select Quit then try again.
